Module 1 – Introduction to SHE Representation in Hazardous Chemical Environments
MODULE SUMMARY This module introduces the role, responsibilities, and legislative foundations of a SHE Representative working in a hazardous chemical environment. Learners will understand legal duties, communication structures, and how SHE Reps contribute to reducing chemical-related risks.

MODULE 2 – SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
Module Summary This module explores the formal roles, powers, and responsibilities of a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Representative operating in a hazardous chemical environment. It aligns with South Africa’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act), Hazardous Chemical Agents Regulations (HCA), and the General Safety Regulations. Learners will understand what is legally expected from a SHE Rep, how to conduct workplace checks, how to support management, and how to represent workers during safety processes.

MODULE 3: HAZARD IDENTIFICATION AND RISK ASSESSMENT (HIRA) IN CHEMICAL ENVIRONMENTS
